Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

I am thankful for God’s mercy. I have heard mercy described as “undeserved favor” and feel like that covers it. I didn’t deserve for Jesus to wash my sins away and make me a new creature, but He did. I don’t deserve His help and guidance every day, especially when I get myself messes, but He is there for me to turn to. I don’t deserve all the blessings I’ve been writing about, but I have more than I even need. I don’t deserve a home in heaven, free from every care of this life, but Jesus has it prepared for me and for all those who “love his appearing.” And I thank Him for that!!
