The image in this post is from a bookmark I made for our Sunday School class. We talked about all the words in this verse and meditating on the good things of the Lord. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it, but we really do have control, with Jesus, over what our thoughts dwell on. I know that when the things I put in my mind meet the criteria on this list, it results in joy in my heart. So, I just wanted to make the “checklist” available to you, because this verse has really helped me.
On another note, I’m really excited to share something new! Little Bit and I are working on recording some children’s Bible songs for you to sing along with. This project has been on my heart for a long time, because I have had trouble finding simple versions of most of these songs that don’t sound like pop music or are overly cute. I wanted something that sounds like what we would actually sing at church, so we’re just going to sing them ourselves!
I’m working on a page that will have all the songs in one place, but that’s a work in progress. I’m also trying to figure out how to make them available to download and not just have to listen on this site. Be patient with me lol! So, for now, here are the first two songs we’ve done, which just happen to go along with the bookmark above!!
