And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

I am thankful for clothes. We are blessed with an overwhelming number of choices in our closets to suit any weather or occasion. And still, yesterday, I am ashamed to say that I had trouble finding something to wear to church. I guess it was just one of those days when I felt “extra-fluffy” and nothing seemed to fit right, but there were plenty of options to deal with that situation! I have never been in a position where I actually had nothing to wear, even if I get behind on laundry. I feel guilty for ever feeling dissatisfied with my wardrobe when there are plenty of folks who are in real need of clothes to keep them warm or even covered.
And as a final thought, the following verse describes the only apparel that really matters anyway!
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 3:5
